ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Although electricity has many benefits it can also be a hidden killer as it can’t be seen, felt, smelled or heard until someone comes into contact with it. This course will cover the many benefits electricity brings to society, as well as its key components voltage, current and resistance, legislation that control the use of electricity in the workplace, and finish off by looking at simple maintenance plans and portable appliance testing including who within an organisation would be best to carry out the various checks.

END OF COURSE ASSESSMENT
The end of course assessment demonstrates the student’s understanding of the information contained within the course. It must be passed to download the course certificate.

The assessment is taken online – the student does not need to attend an assessment centre

The assessment consists of multiple-choice questions

Students must achieve at least 70% in the assessment to pass it and download their course certificate

Students that do not pass the test can retake it at no extra cost (provided it is completed within 90 days from enrolment)

ACCESSING THE COURSE
The course materials will work on any internet enabled device running an up to date internet browser. You will have 90 days from the date of enrolment to log on and complete your course. The course does not need to be completed in one sitting.
You can log out and return any time up until the course is completed or until the 90 day access expires.
COURSE CERTIFICATE
On successful completion of the course and test, both the student and the coordinator can download the course certificate
